The Auto Configuration feature allows you to configure the digital trunks on the EX Controller Web GUI. When you perform the Auto Configuration, all the E1/T1 trunk types of the selected server are automatically configured. This configuration is applicable to the trunk types of the following digital trunks:
ISDN trunks: E1/T1
E&M trunks: T1
R2 trunks: E1/T1
NOTE: The Auto Configuration feature does not support mixed E1 and T1 trunk types.
When you perform Auto Configuration, the following PRI parameters are configured on the EX Controller Web GUI:
Port pin out
Clock Mode
Line Framing
Line Coding
End Point Type

The System Administration Tool will be busy during the Auto Configuration and remains unresponsive until the operation completes. During the operation, all ongoing calls on the selected trunks will be dropped.
When you perform the Auto Configuration of trunks, the current trunk settings might be replaced by new values.
Click E1T1 Auto Config button.
NOTE: Ensure there is a PRI card in the system before performing the Auto Sense operation. If you run Auto Sense on a system that has no PRI cards, the following error message is displayed: “Error occurred running auto sense, see logs for details”.
Click OK to start auto configuration of ISDN trunks, or Cancel to abort the operation.
